Week 12

The Dolphins will be hoisting the 6-4 Seattle Seahawks tomorrow at 1pm, which means this could be a very long and frustrating day for the Dolphins. The Phins have only scored 1 touchdown in the their last 10 quarters. They have been ineffective running the ball, and have committed 7 turnovers in the last 2 games. Now they will be facing a team that has one of the better defenses in the league, ranking 3rd best in yards allowed per game at 296.8. In addition the Hawks have a menacing pass rush, which has the ability to make Ryan Tannehill’s afternoon a nightmare.

All signs point to the Dolphins problems getting worse tomorrow, however I know I am a homer and want to think positive, and believe the Phins can start to play better. To me its almost like these guys are finally due to break out of their slump, almost like a hitter in baseball. I mean it truly can’t get too much worse on offense. The one saving grace for the Phins is that as good as the Seahawks have been this year, they have had their problems on the road going 1-4.

If the Phins have any chance of winning this game they will need to stop Marshawn Lynch, which will be a tall order. They will also have to find a way to be more balanced on offense, and stop turning the ball over. The odds are definitely stacked against them, but ironically the Phins actually play better when they face a better opponent.

This seems stupid saying this, but I would not be surprised to see the Phins win this game. If that is the case I would suggest finding the best sportsbook on the web and wagering on the Phins getting +3 points and to win on the money line at +130.
