Belichick does it again
Bill Belichick is a Hall of Fame coach, and some sports betting software like Ace Pay Per Head Software fans even regard him as one of the best coaches to ever coached the game. He does not just portray his coaching prowess during game time, but he also is a master roster manipulator, who seems to always go after the perfect acorns. With the Patriots facing the Dolphins in the first game of the season, he decided to use one of his old tricks, and pick up off waivers a recent Dolphin casualty. Initially I truly thought it would be Marcus Thigpen, however he went with another special teams player in Don Jones.
Don Jones was a big contributor in the special teams unit last season, so don’t be surprised if he makes some plays against the Dolphins this upcoming Sunday. However, regardless of how Jones performs, the biggest benefit is going to come from Belichick picking Jones’ brain on the Dolphins’ game plan and offensive and defensive play books.
Frankly I am sick and tired of the Belichick and the Patriots abusing the rest of the AFC East teams during the game and off the field with sneaky pick ups. It’s time for the rest of the AFC East to pull a Belichick move of their own, and start picking up his discarded players. Hickey should show some balls and pick up a recently waived Patriot so the Dolphins can have their own inside man. The NFL is a two way street, and the Dolphins’ brass needs to stop letting the Patriots treat the rest of the AFC East like a whipping boy. Last season was a start when they were actually able to beat the Patriots for the first time since 2009. Now the Dolphins need to take a play from Belichick’s book, and show him that they can do anything that he can do.
Lastly the Dolphins need to show the Patriots this Sunday that the AFC East title is not going to be gift wrapped and handed to them on a silver platter this season. As a whole the Dolphins, Jets, and Bills each seemed to have gotten better this off-season. The Patriots probably made the least improvements, because they were already good to begin with, but they will be getting healthier this season with the return of Wilfork, Mayo, and Gronk. Revis and Talib seems like an even swap, and the trade of Logan Mankins is definitely a down grade for Brady’s protection, considering that the defensive lines in the other AFC East teams are extremely stout. Maybe this is finally the year where the Kings of the East get pushed off their throne, or maybe this is the year where the Patriots finally reclaim the Lombardi trophy?

What an incredibly lame column. Every team does it and there are many instances where a team picked up a recently cut NE player right before that team played them. One example was the Jets picking up TE Zach Sudfield after being cut by NE 2 weeks before they were play each other. There are many other examples as well but probably the most blatant example is Indianapolis just in last year’s playoffs. The Monday before the NE/Colts game, Indy signed Deion Branch.
I don’t have the numbers but I am willing to bet that it happens TO the Pats more than by them. So the notion that NE ‘abuses’ other AFC teams is such an ignorant statement by this writer it’s beyond belief.
happy now? get off the excuse making – he cheated us wagon!

I am not making any excuses, I just said I want the Dolphins to pull the same move as Belichick. Never said cheating once, I said it is a smart move that Belichick does that, and we should copy. FYI Belichick also picked up Thigpen
It isnt that Belichick is so smart, its that the Fins organization is plain stupid. The reason the Patriots are consistent winners of the division and playoffs and SB’s …. is in large part Belichick (and Brady of course).
The dolphins have nothing remotely similar in nature. Nothing. Nada. Zilch!
Patriots 24
Fins 20
HAHAHAHA Wrong!!!!
Wrong on what? That belichick signed former Dolphin players?
Patriots picked up Thigpen as well. (Link Below)
