This scheme utilized their three defensive tackles; Starks, Mitchell, and Odrick, and let Wake and Vernon tee off on each end. It was a successful scheme that ended up causing a crucial fumble, and turnover in the game. It was refreshing that the coaching staff understands that they have some special players on the D-line, and they were inventive enough to find ways to get them all on the field at the same time.

There are many factors that are involved in each victory, but I believe that if the D-Line can shut down Buffalo’s running attack, and put pressure on Manuel like they did with Brady, then the odds of Miami going 2-0 will greatly increase.
