The Dolphins put up another stinker this weekend and fell to 1-3 as they enter their bye week. The only way to fix this is for Ross to starts firing some coaches. This team clearly can not play inspired football under Philbin and with two weeks until their next game, this is the best time to fire him.
The Philbin experiment is over, and Ross needs to can him by the time the Dolphins land back in Miami. There is no more time to waste, and unfortunately with any firing, this is going to lead to cleansing in other coaches and players. This team has no fight, except for Landry, and they are getting progressively worse each week.

Ross must not stop with just Philbin, he must also make sure he fires Kevin Coyle as well, because he also has had over three years to make something of the defensive side, and with his most talented unit, his unit has actually regressed. The Defense is letting teams run and pass up and down the field on them. Once again the Dolphins vaunted pass rush was unable to sack the QB. (That is 3 weeks in a row without a sack, that in itself should get Coyle fired.)

How many times can a team come out looking like they are sleepwalking? Once again the offense did nothing in the first quarter and the defense let up a touchdown on the first drive.
Mr. Ross has been a very patient man with this coaching staff, but patience is a virtue, and now Ross needs to be a businessman, and make some urgent decisions. Please Mr. Ross, fire Philbin and Coyle this week and let someone else try to at least coach this team in a way that gets them to give a full effort and uses the players to their strengths. Dan, 100% agree. I am just waiting to hear that Miami (Campbell) has fired Coyle. This season is just beginning, they have a tough 5 game stretch ahead of them (@ Titans, Houston, @ NE, @ buffalo, @ Philly), if they can at least come away from there 3-2 with 7 games remaining (4-5), they have a shot to make it.
Just get in, any thing can happen if you make the playoffs, doesn’t matter how, got to be in it to win it!
I’m excited for the 18th. Could I be disappointed all over again, sure, but sooner or later we just might accidentally get this right, and it is by accident that Campbell is now our head coach.

We have 12 more games. It is to early to start thinking about who will be coaching this team in ’16. This season is still salvageable, with 12 games remaining anything is possible. Who is to say that Campbell won’t remain the head coach in ’16? Should he turn this team and season around where they finish w 10 wins or more, shouldn’t he get the first opportunity?
Preseason is over (1-3), unfortunately they count toward Fins record. Opening Day October 18 @ Tennessee, must win!!! Get back to .500 by the half way point and they will be alive as any other team.

For the Fins, considering, I like the hire, one thing is for sure, they will run the ball, and there will be a different DC. They will be a much tougher, double chin strap team. The season is not over. 1-3, need to gather the troops and get to 3-3 heading into week 7.
A more aggressive approach on both sides of the ball is what this group of players needs.
And, oh by the way…. We now know what they’re practices were like throughout the week. Basically a walk through every day. Better bring your lunch pales boys, because practices will be notched up 10 fold. Boys will be Boys, now to find out who the men are!
That is what we are going to get from Coach Campbell. All things happen for a reason.
