The Dolphins have been very active this off-season, and one common theme in each of their new player transactions is toughness. Over the last 10 years the Dolphins have had problems with the Baltimore Ravens, who most sports gambling fans would consider one of the most physical and toughest teams in the league, and one of the main reasons is because they have been out toughed. These new signings show that Miami understands that they need to get tougher.
Brice McCain, may be considered small at 5’9” and 187 pounds, but he is also considered very feisty and the type of player that always gives a 110 percent and who is going to fight for every inch he can get. He plays with a physicality and intensity that is contagious. He may not be in the talent level of Suh, but he is still going to bring the same competitive fire to the team.
Kenny Stills is the type of receiver who is not afraid to go across the middle and take a hit. He is also the type of receiver that when the ball is in the air, he is going to fight as hard as he can to come down with the catch. Again he is not super big at 6’0” 194 pounds, but he plays with a toughness that can not be measured in height and weight.
Lastly Jordan Cameron is a big tight end that is constantly laying out his body to make the necessary catch. He is a bruising tight end that is not going to get tackled by the first defender. Cameron is another tough hard worker that is a team first type of guy.
These guys are all tough and exemplify what sports gambling fans think about when they think about football players. There are no divas or players that feel they deserve special treatment in this bunch. They all are coming here because they have something to prove and they are not only going to try to continue to make themselves better, but they are also going to make other teammates around them better. Even though some of these guys may not be big in stature it does not matter. Like the old saying goes: “It is not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog” and these boys have a lot of fight in them. Exactly what the doctor ordered for this phins team.
What does the rest of the Miami Dolphins news gurus out there think about the team’s overall toughness and attitude after these recent signings?
