Jet Flop HARD! Will Phins Shine Tonight!

The Miami Dolphins face the LA Rams tonight with an 8% chance to make the postseason. While those aren’t great odds at all, the Broncos’ epically blowing a win over’ last minute choke to the Chiefs and the Jets getting wiped like used toilet paper in Week 10, cracks the door slightly more for Miami chances to nab that 7th wildcard spot. But that door will get slammed shut if they lose tonight to the Rams.

Yes, Mike McDaniel has an abysmal Prime Time record, but that doesn’t affect tonight’s game.

Will McDaniel flip that ugly script or etch this narrative in stone?

We Phins fans will see soon enough.

Grier & Co. are fighting for their jobs! … Or are they?

The New York Jets are in full Jest mode and in an historic faceplant for the franchise. Rodgers going down in four plays was something else in the way of bad luck and letdowns. This season, there aren’t any ‘get out jail’ free card excuses. This year, they are showing themselves to be fundamentally flawed and looking for a full rebuild in 2025. Total disaster given the ammo spent on Rodgers and Davante Adams.

This is why one of my hard evaluations to end this regime is that Miami can’t come in 3rd in the division behind the Jets especially with how bad they are playing. While I don’t think Grier should be back at all, many fans do, and I know Stephen Ross will need the worst-case scenario to pull that trigger. Letting the terrible Jets outdo us this season along with a disastrous record for the season that should unite fans in demanding that fundamental change is the only acceptable option. This doesn’t mean Stephen Ross will listen, but a united front gives us the best chance that he will no matter how much the powerful Dolphins media arm tries to move the needle.

But to be fair no matter how done you are with things in ‘Phinsland’, you can bet with the best pay per head that a win tonight earns them a short reprieve… with each week a playoff game.

I do think they can win tonight. Given this regime’s history, I fully expect them to lose, but I will be very happy to see them win and totally done with this leadership group if they don’t!

Tua, Hill, and Waddle MUST carry Phins to the win!

Tua vs Stafford will be the key tonight. Miami made a huge investment on Waddle and Hill and they need to produce big time. Miami needs to put plenty of points up tonight to win. They need to drive this team and not settle for field goals because a few points will likely separate the two teams.

Many fans were happy for the 27 points scored each of the last two games, but I thought they needed to produce more because this isn’t an elite defense, and it has plenty of injuries. The Dolphins offense has been fully healthy these last two games and was built to be the driving force of the team, so it’s on them to go the extra mile for the wins. Miami is spending almost $112 million on offense and $87 million on defense and that with $24 million invested on Brandon Chubb who is still hurt. This offense should be expected to carry the lion’s share of the load.

Tonight, will be about Tua and his receivers driving the Phins to the win or under achieving and letting this team down again! So much is riding on tonight. Get ready for this regime’s biggest moment and it’s on center stage! Let’s see what they are made of. Go Phins!!!
