Phins Face their Greatest Challenge!

Allen has been a Phins killer for a long time

The Miami Dolphins are coming off an epic comeback with Tua and the offense showing just how dangerous they can be. It was made clear against the Ravens that no lead on Miami is a safe buffer. However, the neighbor bullies are coming to town. So, if Miami really wants to show they are a contender, they must finally get a win against the Buffalo Bills.

The number one priority will of course be to make Josh Allen’s day tough!

Allen has had his way with the Dolphins for years

The Bills are arguably the best team in football and on any pay per head site they are the favorite to win the Super Bowl at +450. Phins have lost their last 7 in a row against Buffalo, and have only beat them once in the last 10 games. To make it seem even worse, it’s hardly even been a close contest in these loses, and the Bills unfortunately now look better than ever. This is why his game will take everything and the kitchen sink to beat them.

The line opened at -4.5, but after the Bills spanked the Titans last night the line has quickly jumped to -6 for the road team Bills. Miami playing mistake free football is critical if they want to hang with the Bills… and maybe do more than that. The Bills have it all, a high powered offense and a very good aggressive defense.

On offense, Miami must score points, but also put together long sustaining drives. One of the keys to beating the Bills is to limit the touches Allen gets. The best way to do that is with long methodical drives where Miami eats up clock, but then also ends it by scoring touchdowns. This will make the run game important. It doesn’t have to be all world, but at least competent.

McDaniel has not been afraid to go for it on 4th downs either, so you can bet he’ll be just as aggressive against the Bills. He knows that it will take plenty points to finally beat the Bills.

Offense AND defense must have an A game

On defense, the Phins must find a way to limit the damage that Josh Allen does because shutting him down completely isn’t something Miami or any team in the NFL teams has been able to do. Allen is the best dual threat QB in the game with a history of putting up huge numbers against the Dolphins. Miami will need to pressure Allen and also contain him to make sure he doesn’t escape and run all over them. Allen isn’t perfect and makes mistakes, so hopefully Miami can cause him to turn over the football at least once. In addition, the Bills love going for it on 4th down, so a big stop by Miami at least once on a 4th down play could be a game changer.

At the very least, the Dolphins put themselves in a great position leading up to this game. Since they are 2-0 and 2-0 in the AFC, a loss isn’t the end of the world. However, if they can somehow find a way to come away with a victory, Miami will put themselves among to top teams in the the AFC conference. Now wouldn’t that be amazing!

Do the Miami Dolphins news fans think Miami can finally beat the Bills?
