The Miami Dolphins have made another statement about the direction of their franchise, agreeing to a three-year, $51.3 million extension with linebacker Jordyn Brooks that includes $35 million guaranteed. The deal keeps one of the NFL’s premier linebackers in Miami while reinforcing a vision General Manager Jon-Eric Sullivan has preached since taking over the organization.
When Sullivan identified De’Von Achane, Aaron Brewer, and Jordyn Brooks as foundational pieces of the roster earlier this offseason, it wasn’t empty rhetoric. First came Achane’s extension.
