Phins Tyreek Hill Strikes AGAIN!

Tyreek Hill is at it again with another off the field issue putting his name in the news. The whole ‘I quit on the team, and I learned from it’ schtick didn’t last long, huh? While no charges were filed and it appears there’s no repercussion for Hill, it’s clear he hasn’t learned a thing. Any faint hope that the Dolphins about trading Hill is now dead. To make it worse, Hill’s ever growing laundry list of character issues is killing his value to Miami when they move off him next season.

We are stuck with this clown and will have to endure Hill for this season, but thankfully that should be it.

Of course, you never know with Chris Grier in charge.

Hills cost Miami a ton & brought too little in return

The Phins gave up a huge haul to the Kansas City Chiefs for Hill: a 2022 first-round pick (No. 29), second-round pick (No. 50) and fourth-round pick, plus fourth- and sixth-round picks in the 2023 draft. We received some nice offensive numbers and two playoff appearances, but that’s a far cry difference to what we used to bring him here.

Now, Hill is stick stuck in poop that no one will likely want to touch the business end of. The league is clear on who Hill is and the chorus is getting louder.

A Cowboys insider is reported as saying, “Hill isn’t worth the trouble. That report should read ‘another assault report.’ How many is that? How many is too many?”

Mike Fisher of Athlon Sports said, “Tyreek is trouble. Somebody else’s trouble.”

You can bet with the best pay per head that even if Hill has a good season, and that’s not guaranteed, that his value will be very little, maybe even forcing Miami to cut him outright.

Tyreek is the Hill Miami WILL did on!

Mike McDaniel already talked about how Hill might be a team captain again… likely even after this and whatever else comes. What does that say about this team if this indeed plays out that way? Likely what we all know that we aren’t led by the right people.

This season sure feels like it will be a doozy.

Already a wave of excuses for Hill’s behavior is rising trying to brush it along until the draft buzz hits, so fans will get distracted and forget. In the end, when Hill is gone, we’ll look back on the trade as a complete disaster. If it’s not clear now, it will be very clear down the road that Miami would have been far better off using all that money and draft picks on other players instead of a narcissistic receiver! Go Phins!!!
