The Wrecking Crew
The Miami Dolphins have done it again, they have beaten down and demolished their opponent with another double digit victory. Say what you want about the ‘Phins, whether or not this team is for real, but the fact is, bad teams do not have back to back double digit victories in the NFL. The NFL is an ultra competitive league, and even the best teams in the league are not blowing teams out on a week to week basis.
The Dolphins officially have themselves a winning streak, and it is coming at the best time, considering their season was on the brink of extinction, and now they are set to take on the undefeated Patriots in New England. This upcoming game will be the perfect test to see how far this team as come since the beginning of the season.
Tannehill played the half of his life. However, as gaudy as the stats were, he received a lot of help from his play makers who helped him on his 4 touchdowns, with 3 of them going for over 50 yards each. It was perfect, the Dolphins finally allowed their play makers to make plays, and the result was a record setting 41-0 first half. The second half was just a bunch of garbage time, but this team is now showing the rest of the football betting software fans out there that they are going to play their hearts out.
The defense had another terrific game, with 4 sacks, another defensive touchdown from Reshad Jones, and shut out in the first half. The defense gave up 26 points in the second half, however, some of the starters were given a rest, and some youngsters got a chance to get some valuable playing experience.
The job that Coach Campbell is doing is nothing short of amazing. Campbell is showing the football gambling world that even though this team was 1-3 to start the season, they are loaded with talent and just needed the right coaching and inspiration in order for them to start playing like a playoff team. Yes, at the moment they are playing like a playoff team. Sure they might have just played two mediocre teams, but good teams take care of business like the Dolphins just did.
The Dolphins showed this week that they can be consistent for two weeks in a row. Now they have to show that they can play at this level against probably the best team in the league. The Dolphins will be entering a short week, because they have to travel to New England for a prime time Thursday night game. So the key is for Campbell to be able to keep his team at this intense level for the next few days and at the same time keep them rested. The Sleeping Giant is now fully awoken, and his next stop is to go Godzilla on the Patriots in New England.

The best chance Fins have against Patriots will be to continue what theyve been doing up to now,,, strong commitment to the run game, sound base D with minimal blitzing, depending on front-4 for pressure and stopping the run with base D 2 deep.
I think teams that get exotic on TBrady end up getting burned. If the Fins can play it straight up and pressure Brady w front 4, play combos of zone and man-zone, Fins can slow them down and keep it close.
On offense we have to control the ball with bruising power run game, try to wear down NE front 7, force them to drop a S, and beat the man coverage down field.
Its the only way. Calling exotic blitzes and leaving our DB’s in man coverage against their midget WR’s will be a mistake.
I got NE 24
Fins 17
In agreement with alot you’re saying freak…thing is, our predicament, with such short drops and 2 sec or so the ball coming out, it will be the secondary that must win with tackles and forcing Brady to his second and third option in order to give the line time to apply pressure. Then who is going to cover Gronk? It will take our CB’s to play above their pay grade (grimey aside) and maybe Jenkins limiting Gronk. Vernon also needs to step up and be the guy from last year. It will take one hell of a game to take this one…not saying we can’t win…but! Offensive production is a given – a must, they must limit Brady and that will be a challenge for our suspect secondary. Go Fins!
The Dolphins giving us something to be happy about. You could tell how eager the players were to end the winless streak against the Texans. On Thursday they should be motivated enough to play the Patriots tough and maybe come away with the win. That will be the true test. Go Dan Campbell.
Another complete football game, this time at home for the home town fans to witness. A record breaking day, both on a personal level as well as a team. What can be said, other than WOW!
This team came right out from the very first play and just opened up a can of Whooop A** on a team that supposedly has one of the better defenses, and a team that Miami has never beaten before. No longer the case.
They ran ,they passed, they sacked, they intercepted, they scored and scored and scored and scored. All of the sudden Miami finds themselves right back in the mix of wild card talk. And, if some how they win this Thursday, they will have put themselves right back into the division mix as well.
Now, its on to play that basketball team they call the Patriots. Why the basketball team, because all they do is pick and roll. They do it more than any team in the NFL, the difference is, they don’t get called for it. Coach Campbell has to put a bug in the referring crew’s ears.
This is going to be a challenging week for the players and the staff. Especially the staff, how are they going to continue momentum while giving the team enough time to fully rest and prepare for Thursday night’s game. If we could some how find a way to win, we would have sort of a mini bye that would come at the perfect time. Double Gronk and make the others beat us, Gronk is where they start and finish. Get some heat on Brady. Continue to run the ball, even if the run is not successful in the beginning.
Back to .500 and looking good doing it. Feels and looks so good. Challenging stretch ahead, but capable with this team right now.
How is that Kool-Ade tasting now???? OH SO GOOD, just needed to be stirred correctly. Thank You Coach Campbell!!!
Had to repost due to graphic issue:
Reposting from Tbone “What you didn’t touch on is the Dolphins have never beaten Houston before–ever. “
True…it was a big monkey off our backs…can we get two in a row and stick to the Pats this week!! 🙂
