Miami’s big game has them finally has them playing their first home game of the season. It will be in their newly renovated stadium with a new layout and dimensions built in such a way so that there is an increase in the noise levels. However, the only way to have increased noise levels is to have a sell out crowd to make the place jump with noise.
I distinctly remember last season when the Dolphins traveled up to Buffalo early in the season. It was the Bills home opener, and the result was an energized Buffalo crowd and the Bills crushed the Dolphins for an easy win. We need to flip the script, come out strong and energized, and not let up, and give the Bills some pay back this year.
I remember reading an article over the summer that was a study of which were the best and worst fans in the NFL. Sadly, we as ‘Phins fans were rated as the worst. Being a die-hard Miami Dolphin fan since I was a small boy, coupled with seeing all the support on this blog, and around the nation and the world, causes me to truly be insulted by their “findings”. Even though we have had a rough decade, there is still a lot of support out there for this team. Before this season began there was a lot more hope out there compared to previous years – we need to cling to it, however illusory it may seem. We may not be able to get on the field and make a play during the game. But we can do our best to show up at the game, do our part and cheer our butts off…and hopefully give our boys the spark they need.
Most football gambling fans are aware that Seattle is a very tough place to play, and the fans are even infamously known as the 12th man. But there was a time when our stadium was a placed to be feared – ask the 85′ bears. We as Miami Dolphins news fans need to do our best if at the game to make our presence felt by becoming the 12th man at every home game. We need to bring home field advantage back to Miami! Go Fins!!!
