We are finally less than a week away from the Miami Dolphins’ home opener against their Division rival the New England Patriots. The Dolphins are not going to have any room for error in this game, if they want to come away with a victory. They are already playing behind the 8 ball with Pouncey, Jones and Jordan not being active for the game.

If the Dolphins want to win this game, then they are going to have to score touchdowns. During the preseason Tannehill looked very comfortable in Bill Lazor’s new offense. The Patriots are going to have a pretty healthy squad going into the opener, which includes their big bodied red zone threat in Rob Gronkowski. Covering Tight Ends is definitely a weakness with the Dolphins defense, and they will be going against one of the best TE’s in the league right out of the gate. Coyle’s defensive game plan should have someone on defense spying and shadowing Gronk whenever he is in the ball game.

The Patriots traded Logan Mankins, and seem a bit vulnerable on the offensive line, so this might be a solid advantage for our very stout defensive line.
